Much as I love these drawings, super-structures like these are pretty poor urban form when built out and often come at the expense of true urban fabric.
A good example of this is Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY, which is fantastic (think Brazilia… in upstate New York) but which took out dozens and dozens of blocks of historic Albany, created a single-use neighborhood and is hot/freezing and lonely if you’re a pedestrian.
